She lies and watching the stars

twinkle every miserable night

She drinks her tea and thinks

of every single thing she has

done wrong

She passionately draws flowers in

her sketchblock

thinking of what she could have

done better

so this wouldnt happen

She never thought loving someone

could be so hard

She thought it would be a

dance on roses

She never knew how wrong she

was, oh so wrong

Because this is the exact opposite

What could've gone so wrong?

She was convinced it was her

Of course it was her

Everything she tries to do right

goes wrong

Because she's broken

She's broken and she finally

realizes

And that's when she lets down

her barriers

And cries

She cries, and she knows

She's not as strong as the thought

she was
