# Nanowrimo

Nanowrimo startar idag 1 nov.  Evenemanget innebär att man ska skriva en roman eller 50.000 ord på en månad.

Today (or tomorrow) is the day you begin your novel! Here’s how:

1.  **[Create your novel on our site.](http://nanowrimo.org/novels/edit_current)** Don’t know the title or anything about it yet? That’s okay! Just fill in “To Be Determined” and you can edit it any time during the month.
    
2.  **Start writing.** You do this on your computer or in a notebook. Anywhere is good with us, as long as you keep your work backed up. (Please note: We don’t store any of your manuscript on our website.)
    
3.  **Update your word count.** You do that via the menu at the top of our site, where it says “0 words so far”—or on mobile and tablet, via this little guy: ![](http://files.content.lettersandlight.org/nano-2013/files/2014/10/mobile_menu_guy_small.png). You can update (with your current _total _word count) as often as you like.

Om jag har förstått det hela rätt så skriver man på sin egen dator eller vad man nu föredrar att använda och skriver in antalet ord per dag i ett räkneverk på sidan. Men jag hittar inte räkneverket. Är det någon som vet var det finns?

#1 När du har skapat en novell och ställt in rätt tidszon så finns det högst upp på sidan till höger. "# words so far" står det, och så klickar man på det så kommer en ruta upp att fylla i!

Jag måste alltså skapa en roman först. Då kanske det löser sig. Tack så mycket!
